Question Line Locker Kit

Hi guys. Looking at the possibility of making myself a line locker kit. For those who don't know what it is, it's basically a tap that goes in your brake lines. It stops flow to your rear brakes, so when u put your foot on the brakes and give it a boot full, your front brakes lock on and your back brakes stay free to let the wheels spin. What I'd like to know is, has anyone got/seen one? Has anyone made one? Are they difficult/expensive to make/buy? Also, does anyone know what pressure brake flines are? I am thinking about making one(not for road use obviously ;)). Would really love some help with this. Thanks, Waity.

Buy the time you get all of the bits and peices together, you would be better of buying one.

I'm pretty sure you can get kits off the shelf.

Cheers rob, I know you can, I am just not too keen to pay for one. I have no idea what price they are. I'm really wanting to do a comparison between making and buying. See where I stand. Hell, if there's enough of a difference and they are easy enough to make, I might start Ebaying them lol.

Why would linelockers be copyrighted? Its not like theres just one company that does em.

Actually they are made by the one company. How do i know this because i looked at making them as well a few years ago, the trouble that i had was with the parent company and the copywrite was the bit that could have gotten me into a lot of trouble.

Thats very interesting i really didnt think that was possible.

Surely you could get away with using a different name? But then again everyone knows em as LineLockers (tm) so youd loose buyers.
