Happy Fathers day fellas.

And Happy Fathers Day to my old boy even though he won't read this. Wouldn't be half the man I am today without my old boy.

Had to make my own brekky....how bad is that!

My little one brought me a day photography course though tucked down his shirt, which will go to good use

Happy Fathers Day.

I got nothing :( , actually that is a lie my daughter made me some stuff at daycare, which was nice. No brekky in bed for me, I slept on the couch last night as I had ambo duties 6pm till 8am this morning and didn't want to wake people if the phone rang (I am a volunteer and live behind the sub centre, so I can stay at home and the paramedic rings me or picks me up).

I give my Dad my company everyday...
After 30 years of marriage (still enduring :P) and living with a of a son (my twin), that's not bad.
My older brother was good enough to give the old fella an hour of his time...how generous.
Dad doesn't want presents. Not his style.
I bought him a saw for Christmas, which was the first Christmas present somebody had bought him for years....

So yeah....it's about spending time in my family, not gifts.

Sleep in?? Had the Grand kid in bed this morning at 6.30 pulling my nose and poking fingers in my still asleep eyes ..... then I made pancakes for everyone for brekky. But the good thing is they all left at midday to see the inlaws and I got to stay at home alone :

Sun out, bit windy -nice Bacon Eggs & Tomato on Toast
Drive around the burbs in the V8, shopping @ carribean market with a couple of Everlast (knockoffs) tshirts & hot jam donuts for me then lay in the new jumbo bean bag watching collingwood get stung in the footy.
Bangers & mash for tea -the simple things in life

Ahh Fathers Day - should be groundhog day

My sons GF's father is a volunteer fireman/engineer on a steam railway so I got to ride on this old girl, built by Walkers of Maryborough in 1908.
The engine is back running again after 12 years of storage and restoration:

A good day out... :

While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

My wife went to get her Motorbike L's today, she left @ 7am, so I was up with my 14 week old @ 6:30, cooked my own Bacon & eggs, mowed lawns by 10am, took my 3 kids to my olds for a bbq, washed car on way back & cleaned the inside, then bathed the kids, cooked tea & cleaned up all before my wife got back. Was a top day tho

Got my dad season 5 of enterouge, he's wanted it for ages and I finally got a copy. I also got him a few bags of mulch and blood and bone to help him finish his veggy garden. Couldn't wipe the smile off his face all day!
