Default A few picures of my XR8

Gday all, Iv had my Series 2 XR8 for about a month now and finally got some pictures of it today.

It currently has 110,000 ks on it, factory manual, leather, sunroof and premium sound.

I like your ride matey, very nice indeed. I have an AU I XR6 and they sure look good these beasts. Don't know about the bonnet vents but I think they could grow on me

looks nice really like the first pic
and the vents look good on the bonnet must be the position of them as i have seen them on AUs before and not liked them

I think the vents look good. Are they similar to the sony xplod XR8?

Yeh, the vents were there when i bought the car, but im actualy not a fan of them either. Ill proberly get another bonnet for it one day to fill the holes ;)

As for the vents, they don't look that odd. Like the earlier poster commented, it might be the position of them.

ahha i agree are the vents any use? like do they actualy have a whole cut out of the base of them for air? or are they just stuck on ?

yeh there is a hole cut out into the bonnet, so yeh i supoose they do let air flow around, but i would rather them gone.

The car looks great mate!! Always loved the AU 2/3 XR8s and IMO that is one of the best colours on it. They are so affordable now aswell, would love a red manual 220 next to the BA in the garage :

Umm arrr - some one else has got my car, venom red also lol - very nice ride,looks well looked after, enjoy - I've had mine since new (90k, adaptive shift), can't part with it. :

Yeh shes an 8! Unfortuently though it wont keep up with my dads (yanknbank) G6ET, but still very happy with it!

Certainly looks the goods!! good buy! i like the vents. also it has grey? pinstriping round the edge. is this normal? cos my white ute (series II also) doesn't have it

the bridge is located in Mildura, North west of victora, so most likley to far for a photo shoot for melbourne people.

The pin strip is actualy clear with a grey/silver background. Im fairly certain its from the factory.
