To say we have a HUGE last 3 months is an understatement- i did leave 2 weekends free before the Xmas party.......
October 6th - Meeting – Elgin Inn. For more information please contact Keith vicepresident@fpvxrclub.com 9th – 11th V8 Supercars. BATHURST 1000. Drivers parade cars supplied by Brute6!!! October 18th – Motorsport – HAUNTED HILLS. Club funded day- entries are limited to 50. This IS a round of the championship, but all members welcome. All enquiries to Brad motorsport@fpvxrclub.com This is a great entry level motorsport event, and has now been opened up to other clubs. YOUR club is funding this event, so why not come down for a look? Haunted Hills is at Bill Schultz Drive, Yallourn. October 24th – 25th WEEKEND AWAY – Warrnambool. Enjoy a relaxing weekend with fellow club members. Contact Michelle events2@fpvxrclub.com for all information. Head down Saturday afternoon, before dinner with everyone, and possible the light show down on the foreshore. Sunday will see you do the Cape Otway Walk- your chance to walk along the treetops. Michelle has arranged a fabulous accommodation deal too. October 31st – Motorsport – SANDOWN. This is the final round of the championship. All enquiries to Brad motorsport@fpvxrclub.com. Meet at 1pm, grab a snag and get some great detailing tips over the next 2 hours – cost- NOTHING!! No frills Car Show (formerly Cars of the World), Club Display, Hastings Foreshore. We’ll meet at 10am and drive down for display until 3:30pm. There'll be activities, food, drinks and stalls there, and plenty of trophies up for grabs. Nov 24th – VOODOO RIDE/ Horsepower Factory Night. 6:30pm for a bbq, and then a tour of HPF, used for Oz-Garage TV shows, and a detailing presentation. RSVP to Karyn events1@fpvxrclub.com There will be an interactive Voodoo Ride detailing presentation as well the tour. As seen on CH31, this will be a great night. Voodoo Ride provide us with the bbq dinner and a complimentary showbag. The night is for family, friends, husbands, wives etc - not just club members. So grab you mates, family and anyone else, and let Karyn know how many are coming........... Nov 28th – SHANNONS XMAS DINNER WITH THE CLUBS. Power House – Albert park. $70 pp drinks included, memorabilia auction, VIP guests. Contact events1@fpvxrclub.com We have been promoting this for the majority of the year. We do not yet have "full" tables, so there's still room if you want to come along. the dress code this year is club shirts. Where else can you head out for meals and drinks plus all the entertainment lined up? Jim Richards and Harry Firth are confirmed VIP's....... Nov 29th – Display – ANNUAL CONCOURSE, New quay, Docklands. Enter at 9am. Contact Karyn events1@fpvxrclub.com so you know where and when to enter. What better backdrop than the Docklands to show Victoria how great this club is. We want to see as many cars there as possible to showcase the club. Judging will be done throughout the day, with trophies presented at the December meeting. NO STEROES ON! We will be in front of the Waterfront City and Harbour Town. Garage Café, Carlton. From 12:30pm. This is something a little different and closer to home. Free to club members, non members, $15 per adult, $5 for kids. RSVP to Karyn events1@fpvxrclub.com 3 course meal provided plus all non alcoholic drinks, tea and coffee. Alcohol can be purchased from the bar yourselves. There will also be someone there to keep the kids occupied (both big and little) We have gone for Melb metro this year, so a nice easy relaxing day with a short drive home.
