I'll be giving it a crack also. GT42 going on ef. But dont want to go faster than 11.0, on any track that will require fitting of a full roll cage. No one has really gone nuts enough with the driveline, but the speed has already been run showing that cars have the power to do it. Im sure if some of the 10 sec e-series were fitted with a glide and a 4000rpm+ stall, as well as a 9inch or Dana, they'd be in the 9's.
As for that VL turbo running 14.1 being 15th in the fastest turbo VL's, thats gay. The 15th fastest e-series would be far quicker, and has about 8 years less development done to it. How many VL's run 10's with a stock N/A bottom end? VL's were cool in their day, but its the day of the Ford Turbo now. Anyone running a 1.44A/R Turbine on a ford? |

That EL XR6 is definitely an interesting machine with the positive displacement blower on the exhaust side. Shame they butchered the bumper to fit the cooler..

My money is on Tufed6 to be the first Eseries into the 9s unless ea_ba_turbo hits the NOS.

I'd be happy to run a high 12, low 13 with the XF once it's finished (standard internals with EA management and bigger F/pump), and if i can do that i'll look at jigging a very cheap E-series to experiment with. 9's is probably out of the question but a ten isn't, i've been bitten by the bug to try LPG using all of the cheap ways out and parts that won't cost the earth. Wouldn't it be nice to skin a HKS moded skyline using a $150 EA that runs on taxi gas using the origional engine backed up by an all ford driveline, ie, C4 and nine inch. Just a thought at the moment but i do have the hardware to make it all happen, just need an EA, where will i find one of those.

i know of a build that is going on at the moment in a ea brock thats having a new turbo engine built and aiming for 800hp, the previous kit that was on it blew the engine and it was dynoed at 520hp at the rear treads!!!
a mate and i are waiting to get the phone call to say it is finished so that we can go and have a look... its got a manual thats been built to withstand 1000hp, 9inch and about 3 inch exhaust... once it is run in, the owner is looking at putting slicks on it and running down the track... can't wait will take pictures next time |

TUFED6 is still draging the chain and has to get the car to JPC for a tune on C16 before heading out to the track.
EASPRINT only has 5 pistons after easternats. Adrian Vella is just about to run the EL again after another few tweeks that should see him better his 10.1sec Mikes dyno EA is stuck at 10.0 There is a green EL XR6 supercharged in WA that is in the 10's as well. But there is a roumor that a white EA from Bresciani Racing has cracked a 9.8sec pass, but it is only roumor as I have seen no time slip or pictures, or any other evidence. |

Taken from the bresciani racing website. Although not updated in a while i would love to know where this car is at now.
"February 20th, 2006 It’s been a busy few months at the Bresciani workshop with many cars undergoing modifications. Pat’s EA Falcon has just upgraded to a Garret T51 roller bearing turbo sitting on a set of custom extractors. Boost is controlled via a 44mm external Tial wastegate. The car is also fitted with an Autronic computer, forged bottom end, Tremec 5-speed gearbox and brass button clutch through a 9-inch diff. The combination has made 435kW at the wheels on 25psi boost on an initial tune with more to come."

supercharged el xr6 in wa has done a 10.1,
there is a few builds going on ova here that are going for huge numbers, so i dont think the 9's will be far away.
