The name Territory Titanium has been trademarked by Ford...
Trademark no. 1314165 You can search for it HERE. My guess is it's to replace Ghia (as with the Mondeo) when the new Territory come out (can't wait). |

Interesting. Sounds like a Ghia squared version?

I think, for Falcon and Territory, there is room for a G6E/Ghia and a Titanium.

Ive been waiting to see when/if Ford would remove Ghia from the whole Australian range.
I was thinking maybe theyd go G4, 6, and 8 (eg Fiesta G4, Territory G6) depending on the model but that might taint the G badge? |

Well that sucks if they are losing the Ghia name plate across the whole
Ford range. I have always owned Ghia's (Fairmont and Fairlane's). Always said yeah the Ghia's mine....... and saying the Titanium is mine just won't sound right. |

So, "Platinum" for the F150
"Titanium" on other models. I think Ford is catching on to the naming convention of a multi-level-marketing company. I can just see future models: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Ruby, Diamond, Crown Diamond |

Titanium name plate sounds ok for a top of the line in a range of cars. Ghia just doesn't mean the same now, that Fairlane has been drop & it remove from the Falcon range.
