On the melbourne airport website there's a parking calculator. Most weekends the business park has a deal- in fri after 12 noon out sunday night or mon am, it's only $45, it's undercover and not far to walk to. I have never had an issue parking at the airport in either long, short or business parking but generally i use the calculator thingy first and then work out where i'm going.
