Hey Guys...
Interested in opinions about Hero Cars & Bolters from Ford's product range... Maybe look into your crystal ball with these.... 20-30 years from now.... which cars will be the "HERO" car, and the "BOLTER" or "SLEEPER" when it comes to collectables and value?? I think that the Force6 / Force8 Cars from the BF range will prove to be Bolters in the future - as there was very few of them made (under 100 each) so exclusivity may prove to be valuable.... I think that the EF XR6 Wagons will prove to be (slight) bolters (and I know I am biased towards them)... but again rarity in future might make these big hearses collectable.... Obviosly the GT-P from BA/BF/FG will be the hero cars.... Have I missed anything significant???

XR6T's will be like VL Turbo's - in fact they already are (sorry to say it)
The rest like the 5th anniversary, GT-P40, F6 R-specs, Cobra's and GS will be pretty special in about 30 years TS50's will be almost impossible to find anywhere. That's a definate HERO car,

Petrol will probably be 20 bucks a litre and no one will drive petrol powered cars anymore, they will most likely be either electric or hydrogen powered, and anyone who bought an old petrol powered car thinking they would be worth heaps feels like an idiot.
There's a high chance that it may become a reality. |

The bolter?
ED XR8 Sprint. Faster than the EB GT but none of the bodykit etc, just very subtle Sprint badging. |

G6et, sleeper and a half, affordable, luxury.
Any T-series, especially the T3 TL (2-3?) and TS's, will be worth a motza soon.

Im with Bossxr8 combustion engine cars will be taxed off the road within twenty to thirty years. They will be worth nothing.

Same thing was said in the early 70's and oil was over $100 a barrel which it currently is not. We get much higher wages now than in the 70's in a numerical sense. It is all relative. |

Hmmmm I know where an ED sprint is. I could even get it at a very cheap price. Might be a worthwhile investment...

I think we're on the verge a golden era for Aussie Ford Muscle Cars. The FG Series II 5.0SC GT will be an instant classic & the F6 is already a legend.
Start saving!

EL GT is already a classic, the cheap ones are 40k now. i agree TE50 and TS50's are gonna be worth alot in the future, hence i want one as soon as i can afford one, they are still 30k.

i`d bet a dollar the Fg Gt G6et and the F6 will be cars sought after ... no doubt the red team monaro and gts will too, the last home grown real performance cars before fuel concerns and performance became too much of an expensive luxury.
