The Bathurst winning Moffat GTHO phase 2 will be making a rare trip out of the shed this weekend to be on display at Pacific Ford as part of their Total Performance day.
This GTHO gave Moffat his first ever Bathurst victory back in 1970, it was also the first GTHO to win the great race. Moffat drove the entire race solo, which for those who have heaved one of these cars around a track, can certainly have a good appreciation for Moffats victory. If the GTHO was not enough, we will also be showing arguably Fords most special model from the total performance era, our genuine 1965 GT40. Built at great cost to beat Ferrari at Lemans, the GT40 dominated the famous sports car race in the late 1960's. This car is the only genuine example in Australia. The two cars will be getting fired up on the day and I will give a brief talk on them both. Should be a bit of fun! There will also be a heap of other special Ford muscle from all era's on display. Its on this Saturday, the 10th from 9am till 3pm at Pacific Ford, Sugar Road, Maroochydore. Hope to see you there, more info on our website events page www.bowdensown.com.au Cheers, Dan Bowden |

Hi Dan, You fired that GT-40 up when I was on a tour of your facility with the XR Club. Holy Batman! What a glorious sound. Cheers, Pedro. |

why couldn't you do this 1.5 months later.
Hell I even brought my GT-P from there, you should be able to make a special exception to do it again. |
