Default FPV BA GT 18's and width of tyres

Hey guys just a quick question:

I was wondering what the widest tyre i could fit onto my BA GT 18's would be?

I've currently got 245/45/18 Dunlop SP9000 (came with them)

hey mate, i'm pretty sure that 245 is the widest for the 18 x 8 inch rims. I think if you go any bigger, it might affect your handling.

Hope this helps.

The most you'll get on any FPV rim is 245 as they're all 8 inches wide irrespective of whether they're 18" or 19" in diameter.....Those that have gone to 275's in the rear have fitted aftermarket staggered fit rims being 9.5in rears 8.5inch fronts.

I remember back in the old days you could get rims widened but strength was an issue
