Default Mater Dei Country Fair (Shine and Show)

Mater Dei Country Fair

Date – Sunday 25th October
Start – 09:00 – 15:00
Location – 229 Macquarie Grove, Camden, NSW 2570

Quote:
Meeting point: Liverpool McDonalds, Viscount Pl Orange grove (next to Harrys cafe de wheels)

Time: 7am for a 7:30am departure
We are back around again to this event.
This event was a great day out last year, and seemed that there was a great time had all that attended.

The school has once again asked us to attend, as they said

“The Cars made a great impact on visitors to the Fair Last year, so we are really please that you are able to attend again. Once again, there will be ample space on the grassed area for as many cars as you may want to attend… ”

As with last year, we have been asked to use the drink and food facilities at the Country Fair, as these as the BBQ stall is one of the main money earners on the day, and last year they certainly had some good food and drink, at reasonable prices.

Also, as we did last year, I will be looking for any small gifts / donations for the school. What the school does is gather all the donations, and create a large number of prize parcels, and then run a chocolate wheel. Last year, there was a large wagon, all full of prizes, which were continuously raffled off during the day.

Already I have a number of items ready to donate, including the generous offer from the club of the “FTF Club Jacket”. If you have a donation, then please send me a PM, and let me know, and we can arrange to get together, or I can come and pick up. All donations are gratefully received, the more the merrier.

I will be looking to take any donations down to the school on Fri 16th October.
I will post up meeting place and times - closer to date.....

Not a problem Dan, as family should come first, but thanks for your support anyway.

If there are any donations of prize for the raffle (as was discussed in a previous meeting), and as we did last year, can you bring them to the meeting on Fri this week (2nd).... Thanks in advance to all..

Paul and I spoke to all the members on the weekend in regards to the Bathurst race and having a club bbq. Quite a few who don't get on the forums said they will try to make it. Going to be a great event in a few weeks.

Remember Paul is always looking for donations to go towards the raffle on the day. I can be anything big or small. Thanks to the members who have already donated.

Default Here are the details again.....

As updated in first post - Mater Dei Country Fair

Date – Sunday 25th October
Start – 09:00 – 15:00
Location – 229 Macquarie Grove, Camden, NSW 2570

Meeting point: Liverpool McDonalds, Cnr Cumberland Highway / Mount Pl Orange grove (next to Harrys cafe de wheels)

Time: Sunday Morning - 7:00am for a 7:30am departure.

The plan is to travel down the Hume Highway, to the Cross Roads.
Then travel down the Camden Valley Way, through Leppington, Narellen, and turning right onto Kirkham Lane. The school is at the end of this lane.

For those towards the Camden area, perhaps we can pick you up at the Narellan Mackas, or on Kirham Lane... Let us know.

The question is - "Where is the club trailer stored these days?" As last year, I can tow if required. Just need to arrange to pickup.

sorry guys, really wanted to go to this one, however, have to work.

Sorry Paul, I really wanted to support this for you as I feel quite strongly about things like this.

Plus my brother lives in the area (good chance to catchup).
