does anyone know any good sites with info on taking apart diff's?
caus i've taken the disk's off/calipers so far but need to know how to get the axles out so i can change the center because mine packed up and i need to replace it ASAP! my brother is going to do most off the work but i want to get a head start on it because so far i have no way off getting to work the next few days! thanks!

Have a look at the ends of the axles, there is a hole in each end where you can fit a socket into. There's 4 bolts holding the retaining plate in, undo them and you're on your way.

After you have taken those 4 bolts off, if it still wont come loose, what you can do is put the disc on backwards over the studs, put a couple of nuts on a little way, then use the disc as a slide tool to remove the axle. Works a treat!

If you have ABS, don't forget to remove the sensors first.. otherwise you will be like me and have a "Check ABS" light on your dash :(
Taking the center out is easy, just undo the 4 bolts holding the bearings in, and use a big pry bar to gently pry it out. Well it worked for me

yeh well whats happend is the diff that is in it now if f#$ked and gotten to the point were i cant drive it so it's sitting in the garage now.
but i've got another diff in there which is a normal GLi 3.08:1 diff and i've got an 3.45:1 LSD center because the 3.08:1 center is rooted so im trying to change the centers over ASAP!@!@
