Thumbs down freaky friday wsid.

: anyone else here unfortunate enough to have attended the complete shambles purported to be a drag race meeting at western sydney international dragway last night? what a disorganised joke! some racers endured 6 hours of waiting around for 1 or 2 runs. Whilst oil downs and wall touches are inevitable, i dont believe that these were the major contributing factor last night. something needs to be done to organise the staging lanes properly and limit the entries for such a short time frame event. (6pm to 12pm). all racers should be able to have an equal or near equal number of runs. no one was happy with last nights event and more than a few mutterings were heard regarding getting out of the sport. i hope something can be done and soon.

i ran last night and yeah it was abit dissapointing but not much i could do. i only got 2 runs which was considering i paid for transport from newy to wsid the race fuel as well. it made for an expensive outing. but i did run a 11.2@125 in my xr6t

ur exactly right mate what a shambles and it all started at the gates with long wait times just to get in, not WISD fault there, just sitting havin a chat holding racers up, but the worst was group one testing@ 5mins a pass a quick blip then shut off and wait till they either get towed off or finally make it down.. as u know we had cars waiting in the stagin lanes with cold engines for 2 hours tryin to warm up. I was happy with runnin just friday meets but now that group 1 get priority and hold up proceedings i drove home thinkin time to sell.. 1 pass for me is just .
