Stick that up ya...Warren Buffet. When he got out he bagged the hell out of the Ford Motor Company and its future to anyone that wanted to listen.

Back in November 2008, even with Mulally at the hlem, I didn't know how Ford was going to do in the coming months or the next year. I didn't lack confidence in Mulally but rather feared what the economy would do. I didn't know if Ford could weather the crash.
I didn't run out and buy stock because of this. However... 3 years ago I took out a loan from my retirement account to start a business. I repay this loan, to myself, at a rate of $29 USD a week. That's about $120 a month. This goes back into my retirement account every week, purchasing shares of Ford stock everytime. So, during the lowest periods of Ford's stock prices I was buying shares of stock at that price. When I cashed in my stock to take out a loan it was about $6.30 a share, and I was buying them back at $1.26 a share. Now those shares are worth about $8.70 today, virtually a 700% gain. Most of the time I had been paying back my shares of Ford stock I have been buying cheaper because it only fell after I took out my loan. So even the business didn't do anything I am coming out ahead. Steve

There's a ton of those stories around. Most banks and property groups have done extremely well since late '08.

At the lowest of the Stock Market I saw analysts saying that now was the time to invest heavily in the pillars of the market. By that they meant the companies that have always gone down with the rest of the market but have also come back as reliably as the sun rising in the morning. They were talking about companies like General Electric, Coca Cola, 3M, Whirlpool, ....... and Ford.

It's not rocket science.. If you have the cash buy low, sell high.. Or just hang onto them..
I have read on here people recomending selling everything when things started to crash.. Unless the company was ABC learning etc ... Sheesh !! Yea sell when shares are down ??? Yea right !!!
