Default How normal is this?

Hey all,

just a quick question, my tensioner on my auIIxr vct moves around left to right! Should it be doing that or is there something worng?

That is normal. As loads increase & decrease on the belt from alt, p/steer, w/pump & A/C along with crankshaft acceleration/decellerations the belt is pulled tighter then released which allows more slack to occur after the crankshaft pulley which is why the tensioner is spring loaded, the movement you see is the tensioner maintaining belt tension.
