Same, we had one near my place that seemed to always be in front of us in traffic when I was a kid. It looked so mean and I used to draw the Cobra decal all the time.

i remember when was a younger guy(primary school age) there was a brother or a mate of mine that had a cobra coupe dinged, dented and bog EVERYWHERE! real big shame nowdays but that thing would of been a gold mine to have bought and restored just to think what could of been if was on the ball.

but back then cars to me where just things to go to the shops and road trips in.

So true! I remember seeing an XB coupe rusting near a mate's place for over five years... then one day it was on the back of a truck. We asked the bloke and it was off to be scrapped. :
