Just had my 60000km service and had my front wiper rubber blades changed and was only charged $19.50 from Sinclair Ford Penrith.

That sounds about right - $19.5
I've been resisting paying the other exorbitant amount of the whole wiper assy. BTW - I'm replacing the whole windscreen after it cracked from a rock hitting it. It actually only left the small star but I was too slow (accidentally on purpose) to have it resin filled. I've been quoted $350 (I think) by O'Briens.

How positive are you Daz? I'll find out and get back to you as I've been asking Ford since my 15K service about wiper blade replacement? The 60k service the other day was the first time Ford service said they had the genuine blades available.

Woops, i should look at the catalogue more instead of the inventory system.
$13.98 each list price for the inserts. i stand corrected. Its been a while since I have looked at that item. (There goes my cred) But i still stand by my opinion on replacing the whole blade. I've done it on every car i've ever owned. Once i hopefully purchase my ex media fleet car next week ill be able to comment on the performance of the parts more. oh and the list price for the pair of blades and inserts is: Part number: 7S71 S17528 BA Should be $69.38 Last edited by daz82; 21-07-2009 at 01:25 PM. |

Has anyone got the wipers from SuperCheap?
Any prices and how hard were they to replace? Are they are the same as the OEMs? Were they hard to do? Coming up for 2 years in January and think it could be about time to replace them, and I can get to a SuperCheap pretty easily.
