I travel OS a fair bit. When people find out I come from OZ I get a lot of comments regarding the ' Refugee' situation facing us at the moment. Most of it about how easy it is to enter OZ illegally. They think Australia is a targeted country..

I think thats what separates us from these other out-dated, barbaric & often corrupt parts of the world. But really, caught in the act, you should be sent back on the next boat. If you happen to integrate into society illegally, trialled as a criminal and deported the next day.
