Default Anyone from the Gladstone area?

Hi Guys. Could be moving to Gladstone in the next 4 weeks. Many ford guys out there. Also. Car Carriers and one you could recommend from Sunshine coast to Gladstone for my XM.

Heaps of Ford Guys in Gladstone. (and a few on here) Can't help with a car carrier for your M, sorry.

Sweet. Nah my wife is a school teacher and has been posted there. So all good. Im in the heavy transport industry (spare parts sales) western star/ iveco etc..worked for just about all the types of trucks and trailers so have 18 years experience.... but unsure what i will get up to as i dont know whats up that way for me..

i`m just down the highway at miriam vale.
most of the big car transporters (tnt, toll, etc) come through this way every day so if you gave them a call they should be able to help.

i have also seen Harvies and Claytons tilt trays from the sunny coast up here .

why not drive the old girl up. catch the tilt train back. proberly cheaper then a truck and more fun.

Just scared the old girl might not like such a drive... would be fun but the cost will be paid by qld government anyhow..

I'm just out of Gladstone in Tannum sands, fishing's only good when it's not so damn windy which only happens when i'm at work hehe.

There is a western star/iveco dealer in south Rockhampton, but I suspect you already knew that

Yeah i worked for the branch on the sunny coast.

We will be in Gladstone full time from the 14/01/10.

you might be able to pick up a job with the heavy machinery guys, catapillar, komatshu , etc. they have yards in gladstone.
