As above:
After a good ford wreckers here in Perth so that i can get some parts for my EL falcon (spares so i can mod  ) and parts for my mates KE lazer as some knobhead decided that he wanted my mates headunit more than my buddy did... Poor little lazer got its dash destroyed :(Cheers guys

The one in Ozzy park seem ok. Been there a few times
Walliston wreckers are ment to be ok aswell. But when your talkin to them talk to Steve(i think thats his name) not Ralph, coz ralph talks up the prices a bit. ...well thats what i was told anyways

Ford Specialists in OZZY Park was a bit rich for me although i got some bits there...
They wanted $220 for the trip computer for my EL :-/ Ford were cheaper for the snorkel tho at $35 so i got a genuine one (EL2XR8 snorkel)... Going to go to pick-a-part in kenwick... Anyone know of any other good places?

Yer pick-a-part was a waste of time... although there were a Sh*tload of XD-XF falcons there...
Still chasing a trip computer for my EL.... One of the wreckers was asking $220 for one... >:-( Apart from that ive also found that it is usually cheaper just to go to a ford dealership and just buy it there...

in the quokka a lot of them advertise.. complete EL motors n loads of parts for like $600

There's ford power in maddington(?), they tend to wreck later model falcons.
If you travel down albany hwy towards armadale, turn left at the set of lights after range ford... its one of the streets to the right there.. If i find the address i'll let you know :P Got it: Ford Power 13 Eva St, Maddington (08) 9493 3666 Pretty good bunch of blokes there too so I've found Usually happy to let you wander around - as long as you ask them !

Cheers guys ... will have a look at them...
Have had no time recently to get stuff for it as ive been up in Gero... (The EL loves the open road )I did get some replacement mud flaps from ford for $30 for 2 (a left and a right one in a pair). Ford specialists asked me $30 for ONE mud flap and then they didn't even have any lying around out the back. This is making me sick, maybe the wreckers should check the RRP and see how much shit is really worth coz the prices always seem to be outrageous. I also got the dash/center console for the KF (as it turns out) Lazer ... $50

The wreckers told me they don't get alot of late model stuff as they are bought at the auctions by taxi operators- repaired and used. Apparently they buy almost anything late model. Tried getting some stuff for the AU but it's cheaper to go trade price through Ford/Coventrys or Repco and usually easier- most wreckers are bloody useless- absolutely no help at all......

anyone know where i can get a back light and a front passanger side indicator light from ?
im in melb and with it beeing new year i can not find anything open ? ive tried ebay but they do not alow u to collect .. any other ideas folks ? |

For the Laser you can't go past Laser Wreck in Ossie Park. The old guy behind the counter is Bill he's helped me out heaps of times with stuff and all at reasonable prices. Even had the engine replaced in my old KA and then another one done in the missus Kc good work and you can talk to the guys doing it.
At last count between the missus and myself we've had 5 lasers KA, KB, KC, KE and the latest one but can't remember off hand what model that one is. |
