Default What Famous People have you met?

Hey, after reading a similar thread in 'The Pits' about famous motorsport personality's encounters people have had,
i thought it would be cool to see what famous people everyone has met

ill kick it off,
i kind of met Trent barret at the pub one night, we were standing next to him and this bloke wouldnt leave him alone, and was pretty much harrassign him,
so me and my brother just started goingon about how we didnt think trent was gay so the bloke would have no chance ( i cant remember the exact wording but it was along those lines) anyway the bloke got all embaressed and ****ed off, so trent came over and said thanks, and shook my hand.

thats about as good as ive got!

ive also met a few more NRL players at the pub. i was sitting next to a very drunk Mark riddell one night. he was out with Vella, minechello and few others

i used to be good friends with sydney swan Adam Schnieder.

thats about it for me

Who have you met????

Mostly motorsport people. Mark Webber (waaaaay before he got into F1), Peter Brock, Jack Brabham, Cody Crocker, probably a few more that I can't remember.

Oh yeah, Alan Moffat.

only met 2 famous people...Ernie Dingo at the Brisbane show
And Mel Gibson....twice

Almost ran over Rex Hunt at the Gold Coast once, does that count?

Oh, and I sat next to Craig Lownes on a plane from Melb to Brisbance once too when he raced for HRT. Even got a good look at his champion trophy for that year, he was on his way back from the presentation dinner with his wife.

I lived up the road from Tim Ferguson of the Doug Anthony Allstars and some forgettable TV shows, used to ride their pony during the school holidays.
I've met a few country music people, Gina Jeffries, Kasey Chambers, Felicity.
Thats the limit of my celebrity stalking,
Regards,
Tote

ROFL! That reminds me. I ate most of Team GT's food at the 2003 Bathurst 24hr. I believe there's a photo of a group of us and I have a sandwich in both hands!

I had Steady Eddie and Chris Franklin (Bloke) in my cab together on the ****. Dropped them off at a titty bar in Brisvegas.
I've had Wayne Bennett bark orders at me to do a 10 k run a few times.
I've had Joh Bjelke Peterson shake my hand,
driven Spencer Jolly so he could get a news story onto the satellite,
met Tommy Emmanuel,
and there was a woman, nicknamed the Black Widow, 'cos she bought a black dress for her husband's funeral before she had him knocked off, give me a sultry, sexy smile! :

I've also seen a full screen shot of my butt on the six o'clock news :

I have met Sir Edmund Hillary (first man to climb Everest). I got a Mathamatics award presented to me by him in year 4. Inow suck at maths.

Sir Roden Cutler. My grand father was in the same field regiment as him. So every ANZAC day march would meet him.

Our local member for Pittwater is John Brogdan. I woud not call him famous and he is a tool. I like Liberal but he is a moron.
