I see on Channel Nine's website that there are tons of negative comments about Top Gear going to nine (and some on this forum thread too), I can see what they're worried about because unlike SBS, Nine is a commercial network so there will be more ads and it could get "axed" or moved into a pathetic timeslot if it doesn't beat the ratings of a show on Seven at the same time.

But why be so quick to be negative about this? It hasn't even started on Nine yet! We don't know if Nine will cut out the News segment until they start airing it. Also look on the bright side, Nine might actually air new episodes sooner after they happen than SBS did and we'll also be able to see it in full 1080i High Definition which the show is recorded in unlike with SBS that only has 720p for their HD multi-channel.

If you can't stand the fact that Nine will have longer ad breaks than SBS, well you have the internet... Download it! You'll never have to see an ad again when you want to watch Top Gear.

I refuse to watch ANYTHING on channel Eddie. I have already been to finalgear and caught up on the latest.
