Default Just a quick Hello and Thankyou

Hi all, First post here as a new memeber, and I just wanted to post up a thankyou to the members of Tas Tickford Club that spoke to me at the USA day in Launceston on Sunday. They were most welcoming and encouraging of me to come along next weekend to the show in Devonport.

I was unaware previously that there was a club in Tassie for these cars, and im stoked to know you guys exist! Ive tried other clubs that shall remain nameless and found them to be full of retreads :( (not the tires either)

Im looking forward to hopefully being accepted as a member and getting to know the other members and really looking forward to the events!

This is my XR6 towing my old EF GLi after it spat its harmonic balancer.

Cheers,
TasXR6 - Matt.

Welcome Matt,

I was another not at USA day, but I will be in Devonport (hopefully we get a good turn out there).

Good to see another E series car join, hopefully you enjoy the events and cruises we have and we see you on more runs as the year progresses.

Cheers

Welcome TasXR6

I was at USA Day, Shokewave Blue BA F6.

Just thought I would share with you the fact you have managed
pick my old user name that I had on this forum before i got my F6 !!!

Prior to the F6 I had a BA MKII XR6 and my user name was TASXR6 !!!
and i recall you mentioned you would like to own an F6 one day.

I wonder is this just a coincidence !!!

FPV 204 I remember your car, and kudos on the choice of the ride, who needs a V8?!
I personally love the way a strong 6 drives.

I must be following in your footsteps; old username, have an XR6 and wanting to own an F6... Dont suppose you work in Information Technology? I had the username TasXR6 on Boostcruising *shivver* so I stuck with it, and the site let me have it!

So who is heading down to Devonport on Saturday? I was thinking of leaving around 7:30, anyone want to meet up and cruise down together? I'll be in no rush, as I dont want to get the car dirty on the way!

Howdy Matt,

I'm going to leave around 7 - 7.15, depends if alex is going to meet me or not, also i think a member from prospect and one from hadspen are travelling along too. Your most welcome to join up with us.
We are only leaving a little earlier so that we can give the cars a quick wash at Devonport first.

Cheers
Tim

I'm going down that way - HEAPS quicker on the Riverside side of Launceston. Last time I went that way I made it from the Mersey bridge to Legana in 40 mins.
