That will certainly help turning the sport into more of a spectacle than it is now, I hope 1HD shows it.

Watched that on fox last year, looked awesome but will be interesting to see as a comp round.
Must say one thing, Bloody greedy yanks having 2 tracks side by side while we suffer in little old Adelaide. Only drag action I get these day is with the wife, first to grab the car keys gets to drive. |

The track proposed by Motorvate to be built in Melbourne has 4 lanes. Perhaps can also serve to still have racing if an oil down is in the other strip.

Sound a bit silly. Seeing as Melbourne nor Adelaide have a track join forces build one in middle. about 750km so meet in middle
There are guys that drive 2-3 hours just to race on wed night street races. Spoke to a guy the other week drove 2.5 hours to race Gemini wagon 3.8l turbo. If ya live north subs of Perth takes 1.5 hours to get there cos of crap freeway drivers we have. |

4 Lanes would make a great venue, Keep the cars turning over even when there is an Oil down now and then.
I also drive 2-2.5 Hrs pending traffic to get to the Drags and when Calder is shut i think heathcote is about 4.5 Hrs from here. |

4 Lane racing would be great to see in real comp form. Seeing 4 top fuelers running at once ..... the noise would be amazing!

Calder closed for a short time to sort out some issues but now going again ... Heathcote, while a little out of town has always been going. Street racing will happen in any town whether there is a track or not ....... I would like to think that its does go someway into having a little bit of a positive effect.
Melb doesn't have an ANDRA track though .... thats probably where you are coming from.
