Oh god another Office.

Still in shock from the disaster that was Office 07, regretting that upgrade big time. Its taken me 2 years to work out 07 after upgrading from 2000 and for the life of me I cant see one benefit.

Lets hope this one is alot better.

Been using this for about a month or so now, I must say it is an improvement over 2007, but sometimes I find navigating the menus to be a real pain.
Will try this latest build off the M$ site shortly though, as I'm pretty sure mine is an older build.

Have been using the latest Beta build of Office 2010 and I love the thing, much better than 2007.

No matter what they do now, its too late to make the change pallateable to the layman.

I mean, if geeks are still trying to figure out exactly where everything is and make it work how are people that get confused at the concept of a 'right click' going to figure it out?

Running it on a VM to see what its like, I do prefer it over 2007, but finding things can still be a real PITA..

In all reality, I'd prefer office 2003 with ASAP utilities..

i have been using it for the last 4 months as a evaluation / test purpose for work...so far so good...no crashes and works well..takes a while to get used to the new menus...and only downside is that you can not use animated gif's in outlook ...so my signature was rendered uselless

Well, that settles it! It's crap!

While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

Might be a good thing as sending your signature out as an email gif is not really a very good idea in terms of the opportunity to copy it to use in identity theft.
