Default Road Rage cards

I found this website several years ago. http://www.roadragecards.com/
Basically they're large cards pre-printed with messages you can flash to other motorists, such as "Pick a speed and stick with it!", "Learn how to drive, imbecile!", and my personal favourite "I hope that cell phone gives you cancer!"
I wonder if these would take off here in Aus?

I like the idea, however, the person who watches others on the phone then decides on which sign to show, then holds it up for them to get the message, is probably more distracted and more likely to cause an accident than the original moron on the phone.

Mmm, seems like a good way to get yourself into trouble, you don't know what sort of maniac you're inciting.

Oh yeah, that looks like a really good idea.
Im sure it would calm down the screaming idiots and make them see the errors of their ways, if they could read that is.

I thought I'd post this topic as a bit of tongue-in-cheek humour, but it looks like the thread is going nowhere.
It'd be better if one of the mods put this thread out of its misery quickly rather than let it die a slow, lingering death.

Don't do that - I like the idea of those cards! At least people would know what the tooting and flashing is all about!

Ive thought about this many times, particularly with tailgaters, as there if no real safe way to make them aware of the idiocy they are engaging in.

One of the favorite stories my father told me is that years ago the plain clothes police cars had a little hand held sign they would hold up to a driver that basically said "police". A mate of Dad's was a plumber and made himself up a hand held sign that said "plumber" if a cop ever flashed the police sign at him.
