Hi Everybody,
My oil pressure guage in my EL Fairmont is showing wierd reading. During short trips it reads normal, but as the engine heats up it can climb(doesn't always). I drove home on newyears with it pegged straight up in the red. I have talked to a few people and they recon it is probably just a bad oil pressure sender. I can't seem to find a new unit. The VDO catalogue lists a sender for a EF Fairmont but has no listing for the EL. The guy in the shop did not know if they were interchangable. Does anyone know if a EF Oil Pressure Guage Sender will fit and work properly in a EL. Thanks for any help you can give. MontEL |
