Hi,
I have a stock 1978 mk4 ford cortina sedan NZ assembled, its a 2ltr Pinto, my question is as im having trouble finding a cortina auto Trans replacment, can i use a transmission from a 1988 sierra 2ltr auto wagon. if so will it be a straight fit or will other parts have to be changed Thanks |

hey. as far as i know you can bolt escort auto's to them because most escorts have the same motor as yours. if you are interestedd contact me. because i have 2 auto transmissions out of an escort that i am will to sell for a cheap price.
