Hi all,
I've been looking at different rims and trying to decide what will look good on my ute. I tried a search, and not sure if it was just me but I couldn't find what I was looking for. Essentially I want pics of AU utes with Rims, what is everyone using out there?? Also if some one could possibly do a chop for me with the 2 sets of rims I have been looking at that would be sweet. Heres my ute Rims I have been considering http://www.ozzytyres.com.au/Content_...s_Sicilian.seo http://lh4.ggpht.com/yangescat/R1nNp...K%20CHROME.jpg will add pics to post when i work how, cheers. I like both of those, and have a set of 18s in the second style (similar, but not exactly the same) - yours for $600 with 4 good tyres if you're interested. Anyway, I also like the first style and have just purchased a similar set in chrome (yuk!!) 19s for the Territory.
Not a ute, and not exactly the same rims, but this might give you an idea of the second style:

I really like the first ones actually.
Although ... I still love the AU XR 5-spokes anyway.

I have always thought the AU3 SR rims look exceptionally well on the ute.

Yeah I love the original Tickfords, that's why I have never replaced them on mine, they suit so well, but then again I like the original rim's on most vehicles.

If i was to go to 18"s ... I'd go this route myself. But for now ... I prefer 17" for work ... and will stick with the AUIII XRs (yes on a BF) ... timeless classic look.

I do like my stockies thats for sure, and I honestly haven't seen anything yet that I would change them for.
I might have to go try a few on and see what they look like. |

To the OP, lower it on the stock rims - it'll look great.

Hahhahhaa Austin ... seems like de ja vu when it came to your old XR rims (ex Full Noise's ute)
I know you have the 18"s ... I just wish I had cash to get them off you really. But at this point in time ... there's no way I'd be able to upgrade :(

i had the same problem. i got a black au xr6 ute
and im a sucker for the 17inch tickford rims. but when i ws thinking about new wheels and didnt know if i wanted them that same day i seen 4 utes the same as mine. so i got a set of 19 that sorta look like fpv wheels and ive never looked back. but still got the tickford rims in the shed never want to part with them lol |
