Default Capital All Ford Day - 14 March 2010 - Canberra

The FPV & XR Owners Club of ACT are holding their inaugural ‘Capital All Ford Day’ on the 14th of March 2010 and would like to invite all Ford enthusiasts to participate in what is guaranteed to be a great display of Ford motoring. The ‘Capital All Ford Day’ is being held on the East Lawns of Old Parliament House in Canberra. There are plenty of trophies on offer, along with trade stalls, refreshments and entertainment for the kids. We encourage you to get your entry forms in early as space will be limited. More details and entry forms can be found at www.fpvxrclubact.com or at events@fpvxrclubact.com. Alternatively, post a question in this thread and we’ll provide a response.

Just spoke with Marty. At this stage, no, but if need be, then he'll call me. I've got a 6x5 which was going to be out, but I got it back today.

Was a little cool and wet. I need to dress to the weather a little better.

What a great day. Well done on your trophy. And congrats to everyone who won trophy's and those who put in so much work and effort. Without you guys, this show wouldn't have been as good as it was. Well done.

Cool and wet? Then how did I get sunburnt?..lol....

It did start off that way and I could have dressed better but I was going by the weather forecast.

Thanks, I was totally not expecting to win that trophy.

I see your point, my face and neck are a bit sunburnt but yours, with your wolf like covering of hairiness, did not suffer the same fate.

Just want to say a quick thanks for putting on such a well organise show..

We (ORSM Ford Cruisers) had a ball .. everyone that came up to talk to us was great which made the day fantastic.

Thanks again for all the efforts that would have had gone into the planning, as you did a perfect job..

Most of us got home back to melb by 11pm but some had dinner twice and got home at 2am...

Looking forward to next year.

Thank you to everyone who assisted with organising the event. Once the cars started rolling through the entrance all the stresses and strains of the past 12 months instantly became worth while, and we couldn't have done it without the hard work of a lot of club members.

To Theo, John and the rest of the ORSM crew, a huge thanks for travelling all the way up to the show from Melbourne.(and for taking half the bloody trophies home with you! ).
I'd also like to acknowledge the great support from the GT Club Of Canberra, EuroFords, x-falcon members plus all the other clubs who made the day a huge success.

We look forward to making 2011 even better!
