Well pictures are up, and the info is beginning to flow. Mazda have not announced their pricing for the Thai built Mazda 2, but the specifications have been upped so I wonder what Ford will do, make prices cheaper or spec the Fiesta to the brim?

The 16" rims are the same as the Zetec S in the UK too. http://www.flickr.com/photos/fordapa...7623564778053/ The unveiling was very similar to the Australia showing of the car. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P13fr...eature=related More pictures. http://www.flickr.com/photos/fordapa...7623564778053/

It's the Sports model in China and appears to be the same in Thailand, I'd assume we'll keep our model names and similar spec levels. Very excited about the PowerShift being availible from the Thai factory though!

No, their S model appears to lack a lot of what we get. Our models should stay the same and are not comparable to the Thai/Chinese spec just like our Zetec doesn't compare to Europe's Zetec. I've already convinced a chick at work to buy a Fiesta Sedan, so there is one more Fiesta to be sold.
