Default Fuel pump upgrade?

Have been saving my coin for a supercharger kit and are almost there, so was thinking will i need to upgrade the fuel pump? If so is there anything around that would be pain free drop in replacement for my AU220.

Thanks in advance, Craig.

i've got a walbro gss342 in tank pump capable of handeling 500hp to put in this week, was less than $150 on ebay us made. Capa has t rex inline pumps handel 500hp aswell but much dearer or you could go bosch 044 which i'll be going 2 of down the track. You need a decent reg too.

Hey blownv8au, Power wise would be under 400rwhp so do you think a good in tank pump and a decent reg be enough ?

Hey Craig, if ya head to the VPW website they have walbro in-tank EFI fuel pumps. They're listed on-site at $180

I'll try using mine up to about 300rwhp with the stock motor after that i will be going to twin bosch 044 for the new motor, the walbro gss 342 are a direct replacement upgrade for xr6t and ls1 apparently, come with everything to drop straight in to the au. What supercharger setup have you decided on?

BuckTooth, Thanks for the tip, will give VPW a call through the week.

blownv8au, Looks like the GSS 342 would be the go for me. Raptor superchargers have taken my interest, seem to be great bang for buck. Power wise i have two dyno sheets, 1x 270rwhp and the other 284rwhp so i think another 80 to 100rwhp with a Raptor bolted to it would be a realistic expectation.

Regards, Craig.
