Unlike some banks, the French Highway Patrol does get their bonuses paid this year! Since the ‘flashers’ installed in recent years their speed ticket business has taken off in a big way. This is the first Aston Martin prepared for the French highway patrol. They will have 5 of them! € 200.000 a piece with 800 HP under the hood. Nice business to get into don’t you think?

It would almost be worth being doubly hated by the rest of the world (once because youre French, twice because you're HWP) to drive that.

What a croc- that's a doctored image. Here's where the original came from.

It's bodged alright and poorly at that- the markings don't even try to follow the contours of the panels (bonnet and doors/quarter panels).
How any media outlet could fall for this is beyond me. |

One would assume it's a mockup, no highway patrol cars would have racing stickers on the windshield. That said it doesn't really matter, a stock Aston as a highway patrol car would be awesome in it's own right.

Notice the rollcage inside the vehicle too. That picture is definitely a race car not road.
Unless they come std like that lol (/sarcasm)

Its an Aston DBR9 racer. No police force is going to use a carbon fibre panelled LeMans racer as a HWP vehicle.
That huge front splitter would probably be ripped off before it even left the police carpark. |

If it were true (which obviously it isn’t) it would be an honour to be pulled over by one of them, I would of course insist on being arrested and driven to police station, the long way....
