LOL.

Although I'm sure its just a typing error, one too many numbers in there has pushed it to ten times its original value.

Cool Most expensive Falcon

Whoa maybe $42k
The most expensive Falcon of all time in my mind and taking into account
the cost of living at the time I reckon would be the XY GTHO
$4500 almost twice the price of an XY Fairmont
and half the cost of a 3 bedroom brick house in the suburbs of Melbourne

1971 the GT $4500
3 bed house $10000
Fairmont $2800
wages $70 a week
petrol 60 cents a gallon (14 cents per litre)
packet of Winny red 20s 45 cents

2100 the GT $90000
3 bed house $400000
petrol $1.40 per litre ($5.60 per gallon)
packet of Winny $13.00
just my way of thinking that the XY HO was the dearest Falcon
in comparison
what do others think?
thanks John

i think prices will go up in 90 years.... i doubt petrol will even be an option, let alone 1.40 a litre...

Pulled up at a set of lights with a mate in my Orange Supra.
Turn to car next to me and ask "What's retail on one of those"
He says " More than you can afford buddy, Falcon FG!"
My mate says "Smoke Him"
