I've been offered a BA Brake setup, and I was just wondering, is it worth putting it on my AU1? Also, can I use the BA Uprights on the front, and do BA sway bars and mounts work? Also, do BA rear brakes fit the AU IRS?

This thread has the AU1 to AUIII upgrade. Most guys have gone form AUII/III to BA.
I think if you do the AUI upgrade to AUII/III but use BA rotors and BD calipers it will work. Not sure about the rear brakes http://fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11244844 UK

Rears will fit straight on to a degree. You will need to space the caliper out 2-3mm for them to sit correctly.
As for your other question, Yes to the uprights, Yes to the sway bar, and a 90% yes for the mounts Cheers
