Hi
Does anyone have a suggested 'run in' number (kms) before Bluefin stage 1 should be installed on the Moneo XR5? Thanks |

I can +1 vote for the ECU spacer. A great low cost mod.
Bluefin is my next addition - currently sitting on 22,000km in 2 years. So all good! |

Andrew67 - just went to the site and their SSL certificate has expired. Not an overly reassuring message!

Try superchips.co.uk direct for your bluefin.
With the $AUS so high at the moment it works out at about $650 as we dont pay the VAT. |

My bluefin ordered today from GC Corp.
The extra $150 buying it local, also gives me the peace of mind I can return it and any insurance issues are covered. Price apparently goes up tonight. |

Nicely done, You'll love the power increase.
The HMI interface as you load the bluefin will read "engine malfunction" at a certain point & suddenly you will feel sick. I know I did. Don't worry, its perfectly normal and nothing is actually going wrong its just the ECU and Bluefin talking. |

Thanks LRSedan...I know if I saw that I would be gulping in the big ones.
I am looking forward to enjoying the extra power increase. Should keep me interested in the car for another couple of years then! The other good thing is, I am due for some new rubber. I don't that will be happening until I get the bluefin in and had some fun with it. |

Warren, I just had my old bluefin reset from the factory all done via the internet in minutes and had very good support from the factory to do it, so local support is not critical.
I just sold my bluefin for the Golf GTI and the guy had a smile from ear to ear. It really gives what the factory should be supplying standard. It was a very hard to buy the XR6T instead of the XR5 as the thought of a Bluefin on the XR5 was really tempting especially at the price of the XR5. The wife won, pay an extra $10K for a car that does not handle, auto box, and is no fun but goes like F..k in a strait line. |

The XR6T is amazingly fast car. But tend to agree with what you have said - although I drove a GE6T.
I am enjoying the quality of the XR5 and very much looking forward to getting my tune. |
