Default best sway bars

Just wondering what sway bars you reccommend. im looking at getting front and rear sway bars.

Do you know much of a difference once they are installed?

I recommend BIG swaybars. Ones that look like they've been made from a crowbar.

Will you notice a difference? Unsure - do you drive the car?

Take a look at Whiteline's range, they have some big swaybars for E-Series falcons.

IMO, don't get a larger front bar without changing the rear bar, otherwise the car will have more tendancy to understeer.

I'm using whitelines 30mm adjustable bar. I don't really like their link system I've seen other designs which do the same thing but would be a bit more durable. But yeah 30mm sway bar definitly makes turning easier. The adjustable bar says it gives 115% stiffer over the normal 30mm bar but I don't know if thats the case. If i bought another it'd be the normal 30mm one. I guess the benifit is if you didn't like how stiff it was you could reduce it down a bit. The other davantage is you can set a different level of stiffness for each side - only for circuit racing though.

The sway bar was the biggest improvment in handling for me. perhaps on stock rims and average tires it would cause understeer thats something to consider. Someone like sox would be good for advice he seems to have a bit of experience with this stuff.

Also we installed my old v8 sway bar into silencers 6cyl ea. Even as a passenger i noticed it had a big improvment in turning. Body roll was reduced a fair bit. It really surprised me. Especially after we measured both the ea one being a smidge over 26mm and the v8 one 27.
