The 80's was only kind to a few makes in general, not the most flattering decade.

Biggest thing out of the article is electric power steering. Is that on the cards for the Falcon, or will they go to the effort of adding the necessary hardware to keep the engine providing the pump???????

I'll disagree again and say XD/E/F was a mutated foxbody/Granda and the E series just carried the DNA into the 90's.

This was a great read, thanks for posting! The advances are amazing, and i would imagine it's a constant battle to retain the same 'spirit' yet continually advance the cars capabilities.

The old Fox-body still appeals to me, in it's day it was something I wished for. It had simple but good looks, and a 5 litre to make it one of the best bangs for the buck. The new one looks nice, but I still feel the retro look not as complete as it should be.
Anyhow, the following is completely off topic, it shows how the new Mustang GT stacks up against the new Nissan 370Z around a circuit in a tyre comparison. Warning: The result may be heartbreaking for some. 2011 Mustang GT vs Nissan 370Z Last edited by Falc'man; 12-05-2010 at 09:38 PM. |
