i have recently purchased a s pac cluster from ebay with white gauges(looks kinda cool) to fit to my ea gl. do i have to run any extra wiring or just replace the oil sender to get it to all work?

Default s pac instrument cluster

Just replace the oil light sender with a oil gauge sender unit

That's an interesting idea- are the guage backgrouds UV reactive?

Is it possible to change the EA/EB Fairmont Ghia Digital Dash for the S-Pac ones without changing much? Other than the oil pressure sender of course. The digital speedo is giving me the s**ts...

the wiring is compleatly different, so if your up for a challenge ( and it will be one too)you can give it a try. most of the wires have to be cut and resoldered to change the three plugs on the "high series" cluster down to two.

ok guys. have hit a technical hitch. have the pink/blue wire from the coil to the firewall connector but it doesnt go through to the dash harness. i feel confident enough to run a spare wire to the cluster but am unsure which pin on the cluster to connect it to. any ideas??
