I am coming to Melbourne on the 3rd of November for a conference in Lorne, staying at Cumberland Resort, and am hiring a car to get there. I have only got 2 spare days before the conference and none after to sight see.
I wanna go to the Ford Discovery Centre in Geelong but apart from that I have no idea what to do. does anyone have any suggestions. Car stuff would be good. Cheers

See if you can do a tour of the Ford Factory in Broadmeadows, I did that when I was down there a few weeks ago & it was really good

Drive another 100 Ks or so from Lorne around the Great Ocean Rd to Port Campbell etc, if you've never seen before, and then back up via Geelong to Ford discovery centre.
Great Ocean would have to rank as one of the best drives in oz.
