3 Years. I do a stack of kilometres though, So I get bored of them. Really should hold on to them longer, changing cars is an expensive excercise, and well you know the service history of your own car.

Cant see my selling my Kingswood anytime soon, though.

I seem to turn over every 2.5 years if I look back, first two because they died/I killed them but after that I think I was just getting bored.

Recently put a SVI system in the AU so the longer I can keep it going as a daily the more ill save; plan is to keep that for atleast 5 years.

Not me - but my old man still has his Datsun Bluebird which he bought new in 1966 - 44 years! He has also had his XY wagon for 32 years!

I'm on my way - I've had my EF for 12 years.

I purchased my XP 2dr futura in 1980, still got it. When I purchased it all my friends laughted at me because they said I had been ripped off. I paid $810 for it at a time when you could not give an XP 2dr away. Regards Peter

The longest car I owned was a 1965 Galaxie..... often described by my mates as 20 foot of bad taste........
I'm too much of a car slut to keep them too long though I should've kept at least one of the 5 Falcon coupes I owned at various times.

Six years. BA XR6 being my current daily. Would love to turn it over but can't afford to.

Five and a half years for the Coupe, it's a keeper!!

I've had these two longer than any others in nearly 30 years of driving.

Some marriage's don't last this long...
I wander if having long term car carries over to long term marriage ??
Especially when you consider the car kept for so long becomes a project to keep it
in top condition..
Aha as they say you have to work at these things ... Lol....
As per Overhaulin show the Mrs gets very much involved...
