Doubt it would be a HDD recorder to.
Would record to DVD's.
Probably just run out stock at that store only.

Most likely an x-line, we don't have any conia recorders at my work but we've got plenty of other conia (and tedelex) stuff and from what I've seen and heard, it's good quality along with the tedelex stuff. Were there many others there or was that the only one? In the past sometimes we've just found an old item somewhere and marked it down ridiculously; on one occasion I found an mp3 player in one of the drawers that had a $349 price tag on it but one of the managers reduced it to $49 or something and it sold that day, and another time there was a sony dvd player that was around $699 and it got marked down to about $169 I think, that was unbelievable and also sold on the day. Sounds like that was a good find though!

Actually, out of sheer curiousity, lol, have you still got the receipt? If so, there should be a six digit number next to the product description; can you put that up so I can search the system to see what other stores have this and find out why it's so cheap.

Got one of them a few months back. Good little unit actually. Looks good, has a TV tuner and volume on the same remote and all.

We got ours for free when we got Mrs Casper a new mobilephone.... was rapt about that too!!!! Free is good.

Went and had a look at the Knox City store, and as Des said, looks like they've sold out. Bit of a shame... Don't think it's worth the drive anywhere else though. If anyone want to pick one up for me that side of town?

I bought the last model I could find. It wsa display stock and was at hurstville. Display stock but for $50 who cares. Setting it up, which will take a while geting the inputs sorted. Looks good though, has component input, s-video input, composite input, only 2 channel sound input though (bummer). Dvd + RW so you can record and record again on one dvd like a vhs tape.

Cool.
