Default WQ Major Service

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has had a major service on a WQ Fez ? I have a 1.6 manual and the local ford dealer quoted $700 for this service....previously I have been getting oil / oil filter / air & pollen filter changed at @ 7,500 k for about $300 a throw at a local ultratune. Have been specifying synthetic oil too...Thanks for your time

How many kms? I would have thought $700 was a little steep for a major service ... what does the quote include?

What he said, how many Km's? My 60k service was $300 odd & included new brake fluid. Pads & discs were still good though.

I have clocked 45,600 kms....I don't think I have ever paid less than $270 for a service on this car which I find somewhat disturbing since it is meant to be the economy Ford product. Might be some good old profit gouging from Sydney Ford dealers ???

45k should be a minor service. 60k is a fairly big one & as I said, mine cost nowhere that much.

I have an 06' WQ and had my 60k srv done. It cost me $499, that was at Grawill Ford on the NSW Central Coast. My brother's a mechanic and he told me off for going there. They did a good job but it's a lot of money.
