XD ESP dash for me, well laid out and classy with silver highlight, especially at night with the red lighting. Got lots of comments about that.

Falcon has to be XK - XP

Fairlane has to be ZC - ZD

Tacho's on 90% street cars are nothing but a **** any way, all you need is a cool classy lay out

Easy for me.

AU LTD by far one of the best dashes and interiors Ford has ever made. Even had its own colour scheme!

XB GT looks the best and has a good headlight dipper.
The passenger should not be able to see the speedo. it's a safety feature that can avoids arguments. and it does not have that dangerous air bag nonsense.

My vote probably goes to EF-EL series as it's a better quality material than later models and easier to keep clean. The instruments and buttons are user friendly, easy to read and fairly durable too.
Also loved my EB Ghia dashboard...
Never realised how much I enjoyed having the exact number in front of me (though who knows how accurate it was)...

Interestingly... if you drove it over 200km/h... the last reading was 199... and it would stay there until you came back down...

Arguments about 102km/h never end for me :( Be Better if the passengers read a book :P

I agree..Love the cockpit style but it would be good if the dash was a bit brighter at night. It can be hard to read the gauges.

Tell your missus that you ARE doing 100kph but because of the angle she's looking at it from, (the needle is 4-5mm from the dash surface), it just looks higher from where she sits.

For me, it's the AUII-III Fairlane, but then, I'm biased. haha

Funny the amount of people who don't know their dashboards from their instrument clusters!

For the contempoary models the High series AU with priemium sound does it for or me (Fairmont/Fairlane/T Series) - but it really does need the MoMo wheel to pull all the ergonomics together

Cheers

XF S'pack for me, the uncomplicated falcon dash layout with the bonus of the ghia's digital type gauges.

Yeah I agree, thats why I never upgraded my old semi digital s pack instrument panel for the full digital ghia version.
All though I did prefer the ghia dash layout.
