Default AU Front Springs

OK, speak up and LOUD

King Superlows with my 18's

or

Eibach's

Spoke with spare parts guy that sells both, he reckons Eibach does hardly any testing and even less in OZ

Same guy says Kings do do a lot of R & D here.

Price is $130 for Kings and the Eibach site has them for $130 as well, could be typo as rears are $220.

No postage on Kings as they are here toomorow and shop wont charge.
Also brought some Nolathane shock bush's front and rear.

I have Kings in the rear of my AU XR6 and soon to have Super Low ones in the front, I find nothing wrong with them.

$130 is good, not much above cost at all! I'm going Kings SL/SSL combo @ $125 a pair. I haven't used either at this stage, I found Pedders were really good in my old ED though.

I prefer Eibach's due to quality. Ive had both before and Eibach's feel more refined. Plus their lowest they go is an in between level of Kings Superlow and Low. About 35mm.

http://www.eibach.ashop.com.au/p/523840/pro-kit.html

Eibach's for $220. Postage is $45.
As others have mentioned, they are a better quality spring. However they won't sit as low as King Super Lows, if you're after maximum dumpage than the Kings are for you.

But I also have the Eibach's and they are fantastic.

I had SL's and big wheels, never pulled over once in 4 years. Now this car, looks stock, hvent been pulled over in a year and a half either, I think its all to do with driving style.
Oh, and Eibachs FTW.

I only have 18's, the car is white, no ****y crap and always clean. Also dont muck around, have kids so last time i got pulled up was a RBT, caiught a Echidna in back yard and was taking it for a drive near our showgrounds. Police wanted to look at Echidna but that was it. I am putting 20's on though. Same wheels just in 20's.

Does anyone know if you can change the spring saddle on Koni red's (for EL) to suit the smaller diameter of the bottom of the AU front spring? I've currently got King's SL in my EL and want to lift it a little, the in-between height of Eibach seems almost perfect.
Plus I think a bit more refinement in manufacture certainly couldnt go astray from these bone rattlers.

just watch what tyres you get on the 20s, i was told 225/35s are no good as on an 8.5 inch rim they slide around left to right :S Best bet would be to go for 245/30s (thats what im going to get new time they are due for replacement) only problem is you might need to get the gaurds rolled seeing you have super lows in the front (rear might need rolling too)
keep up the good work
