Back on topic, I think there will be only very minimal changes to the panels of the FG altogether, meaning reshaped front and rear bumpers come, say, 2012? The bulge will be here until 2016, where the Falcon's future turns to an almighty "?".
The Windsor was not going to continue, it finished production late in the AU's cycle and Tickford had to stockpile them to get through to the end of AU as the Yanks had finished with it.

The BA XR8/GT was supposed to get the 5.4 3V engine, but Tickford engineers could not get the power levels out of it that they wanted, so a late decision was made to switch to the 4V heads, which required the bulge to fit the manifold under.

The bulge rocks. Leave it.
With the coyote having all the grunt that the boss was supposed to have, why would you want to lose your now famous "power bulge"?

Bonnet's are like women's breasts, they are meant to bulge.

IDGA toss - about the bonnet - as long as the engine does what all the hype is thats what we have been waiting for.
I won't vote as my choice is not on the poll - if push comes to shove would be for modern style nostrils we are in 2010.

I also like the nostrils... but it would be too much of a HSV copy if FPV were to run them now...

I liken FPV's getting around with a bulge, coupled with those ghastly stripes to your 300lb best buddy turning up to your 30th high school re-union in flared cords, brylcream and a beer gut thinking he still looks cool. He's still a tough M.... F..... but no one dares tell him he looks like a plonker.

In my opinion. If the bulge isnt there for a functional reason, drop it.

I reckon the bulge will stay in some form, possibly diluted and more like a shaped bonnet. I suspect not much will change styling wise since it is only an FG facelift.

I would prefer if they did something else though if the bulge isn't required, like having some more bonnet detail like on the early "noughties" stangs but maybe not so over the top.

Why not fill the bulge with a popcorn maker.

Since we're being silly, why not fill it with anti-gravity so we can loose a few KG's
