That has got to be one of the worst possible apps anyone's come up with to date. For somebody to be able to access all your personal information at the touch of button and also pinpoint your exact location is just ridiculous.
It won't take much for the wrong type of person to get past all the security measures and misuse it. |

I don't like facebook, but this program is worrying. To think how many young girls who will happily give their locations to be cool. It won't be long before something bad happens.

Lets think outside the square for a moment.
All you need is a phone with GPS and this program. Buy a used phone of ebay, connect to a prepaid account where $30 lasts a year. Hard wire the phone charger to the car, so that it's always on, but 'silent'. Somewhere nice and hidden. If the power is removed the battery will keep things going for a week. Car gets stolen... access the program from home and locate your car.. within a few metres! As for the program itself. I guess you need to be an active member.... People have been killed from a Rendezvous arranged through Facebook.. this will go 1 step further and locate the victim for the offender.. Policing for online crime is nowhere up to scratch.... it's really a joke isn't it. |
