Default WS squeaking clutch pedal?

Hey guys, just noticed this a few days ago, but now when I press in the clutch pedal, it squeaks. Anyone else have this issue?

Thanks much.

Yep, god it's annoying too! Mine just started out of theblue then disappeared after one day but has since returned.

Might try and have a look at it this weekend and see if I can lubricate anything, otherwise I'll just let ford sort it out.

Yes mine returned also, I've noticed if I slam in the clutch, it doesn't do it, but if I press it in slowly, it does it. One of the mechanics at my workshop said to use "curtain track lube" and spray it up the pedal.

Yeah, my xr5 did it for a couple of days then stopped by itself and hasn't returned. My old xr4 did the same thing... Must be a euro ford thing!

My MK6 Fiesta had a squeaky clutch, but the MK7 doesn't have it nearly 14,000km later (touch wood as I don't want any more rattles).

my WP was doing it a few weeks ago, but it seems to have stopped... assuming clutch pedals are pretty much the same i'd just wait and see.. it may stop. otherwise take it to ford under warranty

Sometimes it will stop, then half way to work it comes back with a vengance, then it will stop when i get out of the car and let it sit, then half way through my drive it comes back.

Its quite annoying how it shows up just when I try to sell it.

have you asked the dealer to fix it? I assume the WS is still under warranty.

Yeah me too. I drive every day as it is a work car. Will be ok some mornings but always comes back and is getting louder!

Only problem is adjustments for rattles and sqeaks generally are not covered as part of the warranty. Depends how nice your dealer is.
