Ok, after the enormous help recieved on the last question, Ill ask another question.
Im running V-power, 98ron. If I want to run an E10 95 (always used to run it before custom tune, ran sweet[pardon the pun]) how many degrees of ignition timing will I need to pull out?

probably 5/8ths of bugger all
i know if it was a carby car you'd only look at about 2 deg back in the day i used to ignore timing specifications i'd just keep on retarding it until the pinging stopped

Zero if it's an AU6- has a knock sensor that should more than take care of that.

I had my old car ping really badly one day on a 98 tune when running 95. If I can hear it, Im sure that its doing damage.

Well the egas motors ping really lots on hot days
they rocket on to over half a mil without incident

Normally about 3 degrees, but the engine will need a little more fuel using e10 than it would using 98 oct fuel so it may be slightly leaner which may require a little more timing to be removed

You set the timing to factory specs and let the ECU take care of it. How simple do you need it to be?
