My mother's '04 Fiesta has broken down on a couple of occasions now, this time it went straight to the mechanics.
They came back saying that it was the alternator, which according to them is the first time they have ever seen this issue with this year/model. The report being - P0500 Vehicle Speed Sensor Malfunction, P0620 Generator Control Circuit Malfunction. The speedo has stopped working occasionally for a couple of years but after a few minutes comes back and have never been an issue beyond that. The car is starting again now and driving as usual, but it has happened a couple of times now. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas what this could be (besides a buggered alternator)? Or maybe someone has already had this issue? Thanks! |
